Dangerously Easy ESL homepage:

Dangerously Easy ESL's material currently falls broadly into two categories: ESL Games and ESL Lesson Plans.

ESL Games:

Our games follows a simple philosophy: provide a straight forward and easy to use way for the Teacher to engage students with the English language by making the classroom fun. Some games revolve around specific language topics, such as Stop The Clock, where students will need to learn and practice their ability to read the time in English.

Other games are intended to have very broad applicability. Defuse the Bomb is dangerously easy to use, and can be adapted to any lesson. Students much guess which wire to cut. Choose wrong, and the bomb will explode! Practice relevant grammar and vocabulary structures while trying to choose the correct answer.

ESL Lesson Plans

Dangerously Easy ESL Lesson Plans push the students to use the English language in new ways, while making the teacher's job much easier and more enjoyable. Ideal if you lack quality materials, or if your students simply need a brake from the routine of textbook study. Our ESL Lesson Plans cover genuinely interesting and wide-ranging topics that will give your students cause to think and endeavour to use their English skills to the fullest of their abilities.

Topics covered have so far ranged from history, moral issues, and animal welfare, all presented in an accessible way for a range of ESL classroom environments. Below are two examples of recent ESL lesson plans from Dangerously Easy.

THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION ESL
The lesson plan heard around the world! Introduce your students to the birth of America and the origin of Independence Day. Re-fight the revolution in the team based English language trivia battle!

VEGETARIANISM ESL
A topic sure to get your students thinking and talking. Students are introduced to the ideas behind modern vegetarianism and encouraged to consider why people choose this lifestyle. Students choose which animals are acceptable to eat.  (Most won't eat the monkey).

Happy teaching!
